Stunning accommodation. Home Hotel Christian IV is highly reccomemded. We just arrived, rate including half board. The dinner was delicious, really surprising. Soup, different salads, starters, tender pork tenderloin, side dishes. Very nice staff, hotel has a traditional ambience (former bank). The breakfast was also great, offering different meals, pancake, fresh fruits, beverages. Staff is very nice, helpful, polite.

Breakfast on day 1 was great, all the basics plus ginger shots, smoothies, juices, cake... Lobby and other areas are really nice and cozy, plus free coffee, snacks, drinks is a huge bonus! Room is nicely furnished and renovated, bathrooms could use some attention next. However, it was super clean.

Very close to the train station and anything else you needed was just a few minutes walk away. Easy check in and out. Didn’t hear any noise from neighbors, so I was either lucky or the rooms are soundproof. Great food (although I was not able to attend the dinners, but the breakfast was good). The hotel room itself was very comfy and cozy. Might have to come back here someday! 10/10

Central, super clean, very comfortable beds. Liked that there was a bar and various rooms to sit in, play pool etc. Breakfast was good, we missed dinner so can’t comment on that. Shower was good too.

So much to love about this hotel from location convenience to the splendor and attention to every small detail of this hotel . Small niche spaces cater to guest privacy and an open coffee buffet at the entrance point to a welcome attention to guest comfort. The staff are especially friendly and warm .

Really enjoyed the lobby and shared rooms of the hotel. Great interior design, relaxing atmosphere and an attractive billiards table. Sleeping experience was really nice. Half-board option provided through our reservation really did worth it.

The location of the Hotel is excellent, just a few metres away from the Central station. It is situated in a very beautiful building close the shopping area and just opposite the very beautiful Tivoli Gardens. The room was very spacious with a desk and a chair which came in very handy as I needed to work. Will definitely stay there again.

Lovely old hotel with lots of character . Staff very friendly . Excellent breakfast , with lots of choice . Down stairs sitting room lovely and great old paintings etc . Great location as near station and the centre of city .

Staff and service excellent! Wonderful ambiance- loved staying here. Breakfast was exceptional great. We are vegan and they had many options for us to choose from! WE GREATLY APPRECIATED THIS!

We had a good sized room. The building is a beautiful ex Sparebank building situated alongside the Kristianstad Railway station and adjacent to the bus stop. It is also directly across the road from the Tivoli Gardens. The hotel is also very close to lots of restaurants and bars. The bathroom is a little old but the shower and bathroom work very well and are a good size. The room has a good desk with plenty of well positioned power points and there are USB power outlets on the bedside tables. The bed was very comfortable but may be a bit soft for some (not too soft for me). We had a small Juliette balcony and the hotel has some lovely period features especially in the common areas of the ground floor. The hotel has a number of free parking spaces across the road which are easily accessed. Parking spaces are a bit limited so be early. If the windows are closed the room is quiet and well insulated from adjoining rooms. We were given bottles of water and sweets in the room. The WiFi was fast and reliable but you regularly had to sign in and accept the Ts&Cs.
